It would be a terrible idea, and would fall flat if she tried.  Of course, Lorne Michaels probably wouldn't let her on anyway, so it's a moot point.

Given all the other polticos he's allowed on to make cameos, I'd say its safe to assume he'd allow at least that.

Since I said to answer the question assuming that Palin could do a credible Fay impersonation, I take it that your first comment means that you think there is no way it works comedically or politically, regardless of talent.

Since it's so close to election day, by law, wouldn't SNL have to give Joe Biden equal time on the show?

If true, then gven Biden's tendencies, I imagine Michael would refuse to let Palin on if Biden had to be on as well.   Biden's not a good fit for SNL as it's only a 90 minute show. Wink
