Yeah, basically. Though the Socialists have also have a proper party organisation (which may be a factor later on; no need to complicate things now).

Seeing as people need a place to plot in a game like this I've set this up: http://southriding.proboards.com (not that there's anything wrong with plotting in other places). Passwords will be sent out to members of whatever group when the intro PM's are sent out.

A prize for anyone who gets the reference.

Reference to the Xahar-PiT-DC united-DWTL-Brandon-RPP scandal. The hacking of the private forum of the RRP by Xahar and United DC?

Noooooo... look at the name of the thing.

Cheated, googled, this seemed like a match? http://www.televisionheaven.co.uk/southriding.htm

I am still interested in being a crotchety old tory, but I don't tend to be terribly creative... I will try to think about it some more and create a character.

The reference is to the book rather than the tv series, but, yeah.

Sorry about cheating, but no one had guessed in a while.

I suspect I shall. I shall also look something like Rumpole of the Bailey - I have a nice picture I used when I was CJO of the Northeast.
