Are you going to miss it, or be glad this bullsh**t is done?

I'm glad I was able to witness history in the making, but this endless game of partisan hackery, talking points and the punditry class endlessly chattering is getting annoying.

Thoughts?

Depends on who wins.

(Yes, that was a joke.)

Pretty much. I'm under no illusion that things will magically get better with a President Obama.

Partisan hackery and talking points are over with after the election?  Seriously, what planet are you living on?

I'll certainly still be here posting punditry as much as my time will allow.

This election is the calm before the storm. With the trials that will face the country in coming years, I fear that we'll long for the days of reading through pages of partisan hackery.

Anyways, what's going to happen is.

Obama wins the election, and is sworn in.
sh**t hits the fan even more with the economy. Obama is left with one huge pile of mess that takes a lot longer than 4 years to clean up.
Republicans go into 2012 election mode and blame everything on Obama. They do anything and everything to worsen the situation.

I am not looking forward to the future of this country, even with President Obama at the helm.
