Okay... it seems the PPT post is vacant and the VP hasn't sworn in yet, so the Dean of the Senate gets to do things. Culture King has resigned, 3 Senators are new (PiT, Happy, Andrew), 4 are two months old (Sensei, Al, Jas, Dwtl), 2 are four months old (Torie and me), the OSPR uses swearing-in time as a tiebreaker and I swore in before Torie. So I can actually keep on running my little empire here. Grin

Nay, although I do like the time extension.

If you guys are still struggling to define "plastic bag", what my State Legislature did was base it off of how thick the bag was. Those thinner grocery bags would get the axe while Ziploc baggies could remain.

3. Any and all funds raised from this levy shall be directed towards an 'environmental fund'.

F the masses, or something, although I have learned recently that many plastic bags are biodegradable and eco friendly and might be caught up in the web of this legislation, and to that extent it is  flawed. But hey, plastic bags are butt ugly anyway, a veritable crime against nature.
