Republicans, a week out from the election and it seems inevitable that Barack Obama will defeat John McCain.  Seeing this now, would you rather have had Hillary Clinton as President?

No, if the financial crises had broken out Dec 2007, she would be the winner of the primaries as Iraq fades into the back burner in the media.

If the above scenario occurs it would be Clinton vs Romney.

She'd benefit more in the polls than even Obama did when the financial crises broke out assuming she had somehow won the primaries.
