I knew he'd break 60%. Alabama is just MS with less blacks.

A few differences. Alabama has the Tennessee Valley which usually has some majority white Dem counties in Bud Cramer's district. A lot of Alabama is more upland South, which has more in common with Appalachia than Mississippi. Birmingham is a decent sized metro area, something Mississippi lacks. There is a significant scientific community in Huntsville that MS does not have.
