Conducted alongside the presidential poll, or no?

I'll assume that SUSA's Republican-Minnesota tilt affects their house races as well. We really need to win these seats.

SUSA ignored same day registrants. They comprised 18% of th electorate in 2004. Once again, SUSA is WAY off in MN.

I think you might've figured out the source of SUSA's GOP-lean here.

I give Bachmann better odds than Paulsen.

Interesting. Thanks for the explanation; it makes a lot of sense.

That's actually good news. You have to add about 5-10% to SUSA's MN numbers and you get the actual result.

Sad Biased or not, there's still been a negative trajectory to Madia's numbers since the beginning of October.

I wonder if there will be some pull back if voters putting a horde more Dems into Congress now that the perception is out there that Obama has the election in the bag?

Gallup's generic ballot is the best for Dems since 1980. Although that Gallup poll is suspect for showing such a wide margin for Obama.

What's good about her?  At a minimum, she isn't too swift to go where she went about musing as to whether of not The One was anti-American. What is wrong with some of these GOP women?  They are just so wound up. We have Musgave, who will be departing Congress, and that horrific Schmidt woman who should be, except that she has such a heavy GOP district, and then some others less wound up but very smart like Myrick (sp). Blackburn seems swifter and smoother on her feet FWIW.

I dont think voters are thinking that way this year, especially during an economic crisis.  If you look at the generic ballot, it tracks very closely with Obama's margin.

I don't think that's how a wave works.

I only posted the comment to get people worked up. Just like when I called Bill Sali a moderate.

Schmidt is one of my favorites in Congress because she was right about Murtha all along.

All she did was say some very stupid things. Its not like she robbed a bank or was caught being a Lesbian or something like that.  Compare that to Murtha who on the other hand has many more problems and those race comments may have been the straw that broke the camels back. I think Bachmann will pull through but by a narrow margin like 51-49.

In MN-03 I think Madia still has the edge but I would not be surprised if Paulsen comes from behind to win.

No offense, but I could smell Madia was in trouble.  AS for Bachmann, I should have gone with my first instincts on that race.  Ugh.
