I hereby change my party registration to the Progressive Party, the party who will win.  Go PP!

Sorry, that was my Apostle imitation, I promise not to do that anymore.  Smiley

I'm also changing my name to Fritz, in honor of the great former VP from the great state of Minnesota.  I decided I need something more original than my initials.

Thank You,
Fritz

I also have decided to change my Party registration to Progressive due to the mistreat of me as a democratic member.

Maybe I will be treated with some more respect than name calling.

Registration

from: Democrat

to: Progressive

Its in my signature Dunn, to clear up any confusion.

I will NOT be changing my colors to green, though.

Cool, I just changed my color to Green.

I do post on other areas of this board, and I think real-life political identification is more imortant.
OK

Shapeshifter, please come back!
I know there is a rift between you and another Democrat, but please, we need all of the support we can have! Sad

Sorry VP Harry.

You guys got start organizing things. Can't have people with Democratic position attacking fellow Democrats because they disagree with him, or have something to complain about.

Have those accountable for pushing away those away from the party.

Welcome to the Progressive Party, Shapeshifter! No-one is running from our party in the Northeast region.

Cool, now you can run for the District two seat without any problems.

What, no welcome-to-the-party for me?  No please-don't-leave-the-Democrats for me?

*sniff*

JLD, WELCOME!

Your action inspired me to join the right party.

We have a deal not to run anyone except the two that are running. It's too late for that anyhow, the deadline was yesterday, You can run for governor though

What are the function of a governor? I have no problem if I do not run for any senate seat.

1.  The "deal" pertains to who the party endorses.  The Parties can't make deals regarding who will run/who will not run, that is up to individuals.

2.  Shapeshifter was already registered to run for Senate before the filing deadline.  The only thing he has changed is his party registration.

I can always drop from the run.

However, why the deadline is so long before the actual race?

ShapeShifter said in the candidacy-declaration thread, "I declare my candidacy for the Senate." Others assumed that it was for the district seat, but it could have been for the regional seat. Therefore, there should be no filing deadline issue.

Yea. But will they let that fly.
