Yeah, I think Arizona would have been a better second state.

There's little reason think that NJ independents in 2009 will do any better than independents in 2005 or 2001.

The independent in 2005, the schools guy, Castillo, I think, had signs all over the place around here. He didn't get any votes, but he had tons of signs.

Interesting. I'm starting to think that the more signs someone has in my neighborhood, the less likely they will win.

I'm not a fan of vouchers, but he would have my vote should Lonegan win the primary (Given what Kaplan is currently running on).

It's not like I'd vote for either Lonegan or Corzine.

His supporters are trying to talk him up as some fiscal hero, and lie about where Christie stands.

Actually, this is completely different than other gubernatorial elections.

I also expect some Lonegan fans to jump on the Christie bandwagon, after the primary.

I doubt it. It's, after all, New Jersey.

Why does www.TimKaine.com redirect to Lonegan's campaign website?

As someone who's actually been tasked with doing this, it's a basic online strategy buy up domain names you suspect your opponents will register.  GoDaddy = Aaataaaaaack

BUT, I don't get why one would use Tim Kaine, that seems dumb.  Also, anyone who bought that domain name could create a simple redirect, so it could be that whoever owns that is a Lonegan fan.

Lonegan, his campaign team, and his supporters never make any sense, so why question it, now?

Well, it was created in 2001.

Maybe a socon who uses Tim Kaine's name to get out support for socons. Strange that it is 2001.

Saw that one earlier. Figured someone else would post it. lol

I figured the 15 spread last time was a little high, but at least we know now that New Jersians are actually serious about dumping Corzine.

I'm actually halfway Republican and halfway Libertarian. I've been that way since 2005.

A Lonegan primary win could put me over into the Libertarian Party.

Uh...why?

Why would Lonegan - a libertarian Republican - winning the GOP primary push you - a libertarian - away from the GOP to the Libertarian party?

Lonegan is not a libertarian.

He is also a 'holier than thou' type.

It's pretty obvious that unempprof has no idea why people don't like Corzine.

Mine goes (from left to right) Merkt, Christie, Looneytoon

Other "regular" Republicans of Burlington County are under second column.

Bergmanson says that he witnessed the US government planning the 9/11 attacks.

I don't know much about Boss.

Boss ran for the Senate and president last year as an independent. I don't remember his stances.

Mid-Atlantic Leadership Fund called me today. They think they can influence registered Republicans to vote Lonegan, so Corzine can have an easier general election.

They are Looneytoon's last hope! LOL

This Boss guy is absolutely hillarious. How much of the vote might he get?

In 2008, he had 639 out of 3,868,237 votes from NJ for president. That's 8th place out of 10 candidates.

For the US Senate, he managed 10,345 out of 3,482,445 votes. That's 6th out of 7 candidates.

Just got back. Obviously, I voted for Christie.

Voting in a primary makes me feel like a party hack, though. Haha.

Since there were no others, I voted the line. I'm not going to do a write-in for a primary like Rambo for State Committee. You know what? That's funny. I should of done that.

Ok, NJN, time to cut off Corzine and get us some results.

The more he talks, the more people don't like him or believe him. Wink
