the only tennessee republican who may run in 2012 is bob corker.

Don't count out a Bill Frist comeback. Not that he'd win, but he's interested.

Has there been any news in TN of him running for governor?

Yes, he and Marsha Blackburn are the most often mentioned. Rep. Wamp a little, Lt. Gov Ramsey a little.

Seriously?  This is the first I've heard of that.  Are there any news articles out there that discuss this, or is this just something you've heard on the unofficial grapevine?



There are absolutely reports of his running for governor. Also, his "VOLPAC" seems to be supporting candidates across the nation, not just in Tennessee.

I don't think he'd fare well, but I do believe he's tempted.
