MCLEAN, Va., Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- USA TODAY/CNN/GALLUP have released the results of a poll of likely voters in the battleground state of Iowa. The results show that of likely voters in that state, George W. Bush has 50% of the vote to John Kerry's 44% of the vote. Ralph Nader received 2% of the vote.

The poll of 631 likely voters, conducted September 16 - 19, has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.

The thing is, I don't think it's that big of an issue for most people, and even for those who have heard of it or are following it, it is highly unlikely to affect their vote. I think it's mostly just this Forum that is obsessed with it.

Swing voters don't care. They care about issues and the future of their families and of this country, not about Dan Rather.

I hope so.  I would really start to wonder if Kerry supporters actually are deciding not to vote for Kerry because some guy at CBS reported on forged memos.
