Is there a reason you're all dressed like faux cowboys and scullery maids?

And to Duke:

If you dressed like that here, people would go "so which'aah golf course da ya work at then?"

Me with my grandfather. He looks a little weird in the face, but that's the way it is now. Actually, I do too.

And here's one for mitty's collection of awkward family pics. My grandfather with all live descendants.

Good question. It's fake, and lives in my uncle's garden shack. I noticed it too when I was there, but I didn't ask why it was there or where it came from.

Lewis you have a handsome family (and you yourself exude a sturdy Neanderthalish attractive masculinity)!  But it is interesting to me that so many of you Germans are Longhairs.  I think that is still rare in the US, is it not?  Anyone?  I haven't been back in a while.

Last I was there everyone, as had been the case for years, was close-shorn to the point of dull anonymity.   Of course I like a medium-length coiffure.

There are a lot of younger people here with long hair.  It's because they're all granolas.  (tree hugging granola eaters that smoke American Spirit organic tobacco)

Hey, that's not so bad.  When you can touch your toes with your left nipple, then you can start to worry.

Meh. That longhaired uncle of mine is wearing his hair as long as it hasn't been for 25 years right now. And it was close-shorn for 18 or 20 of those 25 years.

Has to do something with his changing lines of work, actually. Midlife crisis / second youth after divorce and bankruptcy element in there as well. (He used to co-own a Getränkemarkt - a Getränkemarkt is a store that sells alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, en gros and en detail, and also does deliveries. Now he tends the sheep and the website at a medieval living history park.)

Ok boys, this is what an OLD looks like.....lol

So does my grandfather - as shown above - and he's 84. GM doesn't look like he's 84.

I can touch my left nipple with my toes, does that count?

Awkward solo shot in front of Mr. Obama's house.

Me and my siblings.

I'm top right and clockwise, Kevin, Joanne and Stephen. The original pic was a gift to my mum and dad.
