Your assumption requires three things

1. That the state of Hawai'i would falsify his certification of birth

2. That they would falsify it using a new format

3. That the hospital-held certification of birth was also falsified

So, basically (with questions for you to answer, States):

1. Birth certificates can be amended.

2. Birth certificates are not issued with the original location listed.
a. Why would Hawai'i issue a birth certificate for a birth outside of Hawai'i?  Would they?

3. Obama won't provide the original birth certificate.
a. What reason is being given for this?

4. For some reason, we should assume that if Obama can't provide his original birth certificate, he is so likely to have been born in another country that he should be denied the Presidency.
a. Should everyone whose original copy birth certificate is unavailable be denied the possibility?

The theory I have about Obama having a different father then what is believed is most probable. I can understand the embarrassment behind such a thing, but obviously he should produce the document. And why not? How can a person, any person, run for president and not have to provide proof. Heck, to get a drivers license, etc I need to provide my birth certificate. Why not the man who wants to be president?
