I'm a liberal and I'm down with his cabinet picks so far.

I mean... it has to be all about whether or not that person can do a good job right?

I'm a liberal and I strongly support his cabinet picks. His vocal support for the strikers in Chicago yesterday was the one thing he's done so far in his campaign or in his transition that I most approve of. So, no, I'm not unhappy by any means. And if keeping on Gates or whatever can fool some conservatives long enough for Obama to get universal healthcare, employee free choice, energy independence, etc. passed, then I have no complaints.

The only thing I'm sort of unhappy with would be Clinton at state. I feel Richardson could be a far more effective SoS, but I'm perfectly happy with everything that's gone on so far.

Would I have preferred Kerry or Richardson at State? Yes. But Clinton is well known and respected, and Bush/Powell proved to us that, in the end, it's the President making foreign policy, not his Secretary of State.

I'm not crazy about all of his choices but I'm not crying about it like some of these liberal pussies are. Let's see what they can do.
