Hmmmm. Interesting race. I'd be pretty happy either way. I'd probably end up going with Huckabee but I'd certainly consider Warner.

100% Warner.  If that was the race, I'd leave the Republican Party because the Democrats would officially be more conservative than the Republicans in the ways that matter most to me.

I don't know if I'd become a Democrat because Warner was nominated. Bill Clinton was far more conservative fiscally than Bush has been, but he doesn't make me want to leave the party. Now if the GOP officially abandoned their fiscal roots, then I would.

But I doubt Warner wins the nomination. He isn't left wing enough for Democrat primary voters. Remember, Hillary was considered right wing by a lot of Obama supporters. Plus, he isn't inspirational.

What does location have to do with who you would vote for? It is not as if were I in MA my vote would suddenly change to Warner.

Oklahoma's ballot access laws are incredibly restrictive, so it's usually only the Democrat and the Republican candidates on the ballot.

[ I didn't vote, so I haven't soiled your ' Conservatives only ' even though I'm about the farthest thing from a Conservative. Lol. ]

If Warner was our nominee I'd migrate to the Greens or Socialists.

Warner is a DINO.

I'm a massive Huck hack, so I'd be strongly supporting Huckabee. That said, I wouldn't be upset with President Warner as he is quite conservative.

I would vote for Warner. The reason being is that this country is clamoring for a competent adminsitrator and proven executive as President and Warner makes that cut. Huckabee's management style looks to be similarily incompetetant, not unlike the medicre to piss poor style of George W. Bush. He also strikes me as a someone who would be a massive pork barreler. We have enough of them in Washington D.C.

I am a member of Team Huck Indiana, but I'm not the biggest fan. I prefer him over Warner though.
