All the Franken haters apparently. Presumably the reason he is SOOOOOO awful and way worse than the average Democrat is he wrote obscene and degrading things for Playboy.

I am not personally offended by Franken's writings, though I do think penning such things would be conduct unbecoming of a United States Senator.

It's almost amusing the lengths Minnesota wants to go to embarass itself with "celebrity" politicians.  Almost, of course, if Al Franken wasn't actually going to be writing and voting on laws that affect me personally.

Ironically, if the federal charges against him are true and he did takee a $75k bribe, Coleman still would be more becoming of a U.S. Senator, if not more so.

If he did anything illegal, by all means lock him up and throw away the key. Until that's proven beyond a reasonable doubt, however, I don't see how he's worse than any other politician (damning with faint praise, I know, but....).

I have no clue, but Sam Spade seems to have this idea that there is a big scandal a-brewin'. Hence why I said "if".
