Already I have seen several users changing the states on their avatars. Do so many users here move in such a short period?

It's a show of solidarity.  Non-Southern posters are taking Southern avatars, and Southern posters are taking non-Southern avatars.  We'll be back to our regular ones soon enough.

I see no reason to sign onto a petition-like thread that defends an economically inferior, hypocritical, racist, sexist, homophobic region that voted to keep segregation wording in state law in Alabama in 2004, and holds a state that didn't ratify the 19th Amendment (You know, giving women the right to vote) unil 1984.

Every part of the US has hypocritical, racist, sexist and homophobic.
