On his Senate website, the latest news article is from January! That's the last time his office released a press release.

Oh, well shouldn't he set priorities? I believe that his elected duties as a United States Senator should come before a partasin campaign.

Joe Lieberman, Bob Graham, and John Edwards, when running for President, all would return to the Senate on a regular basis to vote. John Kerry hasn't. He has been present for 13% of votes, the worst attendance record in the Senate.

Bob Dole and Barry Goldwater, when running for President, put the people of their states before their partasin campaigns. It's a shame Kerry isn't anything like those great Americans.

Well, Kerry didn't go to Intelligence meetings before he was running, so it's hardly a surprise.

Is Kerry still a senator?  Good question.  He's missed 91% of Senate roll call votes this year.  However, I DO know he still collects 100% of his $142,000 annual salary.

Yes, just like Bush's conduct as governor was in 2000.  The public record of a candidate is important.

Was Bush criticized for being out on the campaign trail too much when he should be governing?  It seems that being out on the job when you're a governor is a bigger deal than being out while you're a senator.

Kerry's history is up for grabs, just like Bush's history.

I think it's a silly criticism to say Kerry's not representing Mass. right now.  He's representing them better on the campaign trail.  Neither Dole nor Goldwater had opposing party governor's ready to appoint a Democrat when they retired, and that's the key difference.  Kerry's not going to step down when it delivers a blow to his party.  Besides, a Republican in the Mass. senate would represent MA even less than someone who's absent.

Kerry missing intelligence meetings and whatnot is open to attack of course.
