The USA:
Boston, New York, and Philadelphia. The people were generally bastards but the sights were cool.

Canada:
Toronto and Montreal. The people in Toronto were nice but very stupid. The city wasn't anything special. The people in Montreal were jerks, but it was a beautiful city.

Ireland:
The people are pricks, the scenery wasn't that great, worse weather than here if you can imagine.

Spain:
Barcelona was nice, people were good.

Australia:
Scenery was nothing special. I had about fifteen guys tell me my eyes and accent were sexy and invite me back to thier place.

According to Durex, Australia is the country with more percentage of people who have had at least one affair with the same sex. A grand total of 17%.

I've been to the UK, Spain, and Portugal, but I don't remember them. Other than that:

France (Paris; Versailles; Tours; Orleans; Villandry; Bourdaeux; Lourdes; Toulous; Avingon; Marsailles; Monaco (county, I guess); Lyon).

Italy (Turin; Milan; Verona; Vicenza; Padua; Venice; Ravenna; Florence; Assisi; Rome; Vatican; Pisa; Genoa)

Mexico (Tijuana; Ensenada; Chihuahua; Ciudad Juarez; Monterrey; Leon; Guadalajara; Mexico; Toluca; Puerto Vaillarta (sp?); Acapulco; other places)

Canada (Victoria; Vancouver)

USA (California; Hawaii; Washington; Oregon; Arizona; Nevada; Idaho; Wyoming; Utah; New Mexico; Texas; Minnesota; Wisconsin; Illinois; Indiana; Ohio; Pennsylvania; New York; Virginia; DC; Florida).

I think that's it.

Have a lot of places left...most notably, I've never crossed the Atlantic. Sad

Also, I've never visited the African continent, nor Russia. I've also missed out on India, the Middle East, Rome and Paris. I hope to get a job that enables me to travel reasonably when I get older though.

And I will, hopefully, do a school trip to Barcelona next term! Smiley

First of all, it is a beautiful country with great variaty. I've spend quite a lot of time at the Black Sea Coast.

I recommend Varna which is a splendid city with good restaurants with a vide variaty of cuisines, a beautifull centre, some interesting museums (I recommend the Roman Baths and the history museum) and a small beach right at the end of the main walking street. Just north of Varna you'll find Golden Sands and Albena, if you really wan't to go to the beach (I've never been there, the small Varna beach is quite enough for me) and to the south there is Nessebur, an old Byzantian town on the UNESCO World Heritage list - It's beautifull Smiley

If you prefer a drier climate, there is the capital, Sofia. It's quite varm in july but that doesn't matter when you can spend your time looking at tons of different churchs, mosques and synagoes (Funny that a non-religious man like me enjoys to look at temples Wink ) or go to the different markeds or just sit at one of the many sidewalk cafés and enjoy the local wines or beer (Bulgaria has excelent redwines and lager - my favorite is Zagorka)

Oh, and did I remenber to say that it is very cheap to dine and live in Bulgaria. If you dine for more that 10 $ you've had a feast.

Finally, I have been to Bulgaria 3 times and never felt unsave. Very pleasant people with a nice aditude

Go there and if you have the time, take the train ride from Sofia to Varna. It takes less that 8 hours and the scenery is magnificent

We used to rent a flat and that is quite cheap. Last time I rented one in deadcentre of Varna paying 10$ per night but I'm pretty sure that you can find very decent hotels from between 10-20$ per night.

(I don't know if the prices has gone up in the last years. My friend, who I visited Bulgaria with back in 1998 found himself a nice girl from Varna. so last time we stayed at their place).

But do go and pleace tell me all about it Smiley - and to ask if you want some more vacation tips. My friend and his wife has been all over Bulgaria
