Which state is Rockefeller and why is there is a state named French Guinea?  If it's an American state, then you should name it like Guyane (the OTL French departmant name) or West Guyana.

French Guiana is called "French" since France is also part of America (?--i guess it's a good explanation)

That'd be just like the Germans taking over all of French West Africa after they invaded and took over France, and continued to call French West Africa French West Africa.  French Guinea is called French Guinea because the word "French" indicates that France owns that part of land.  Now if Russia or say the Byzantine Empire had taken that territory, it'd be called either Russian or Byzantine Guinea.   Plus its just like naming one of the African states "French West Africa".
