Tedisco really underperformed in Delaware.

3.74 points worse than Sweeney in 2006.

Anything from Saratoga now seems to be helping Murphy...

I still think Tedisco's got it.

Good god. I'm so pissed that my brother didn't vote now.

I swear if Murphy loses by one...

It'd be funnier if Tedisco lost by one.  Murphy started off with a +1 structural advantage since he could vote in the district while Tedisco couldn't.

So, how do absentees usually vote around these parts?

Not all of it, but it's not helping Tedisco, either. But Columbia is.

In any case, the result tonight will clearly be too close to call. We'll have to wait for military absentees and also for provisional votes and a very likely recount.

And with 3 counties left.

This was quite the catch-up. Damn.

Tightened.

One precinct outstanding in Saratoga, and that's it.

Murphy 77,208 (50.0%)
Tedisco 77,127 (50.0%)

Murphy +81

All but 1 Saratoga precinct in now:
Tedesco 76,278 (50.08%)
Murphy  76,047 (49.92%)

Edit: with all of Columbia in, 1 Saratoga out:

Murphy  77,208  (50.03%)
Tedesco 77,127 (49.97%)

Im from this area and have had to deal with many close local elections here.  In Saratoga county at least, absentees seem to closely mirror the actual vote.

>160k turnout's pretty impressive (with absentees).

Your Washington is out-of-date, I think.  Pretty sure it's Murphy +81.

I suspect we'll lose this in absentees. But at least it's not over yet.

This result is kind of insane. Bring on the provisional ballots/military absentee ballots/multiple recounts.

No - my Columbia wasn't updated when I added the new Saratoga precincts.  Washington's done.

I don't even know how many people from these parts are in the military.

I feel completely in the dark. Someone said 10,000 absentees have not been counted. I wonder how much of it is military. If it is a majority, that would really help Tedisco.
