If McCain hadn't run, he may have won New Hampshire assuming Romney still imploded.

LOL. Romney never imploded, Huckabee and McCain just surged at the worst possible time for him. NH was never going to vote for someone with Giuliani's record on guns.

You could justify Ron Paul's 2008 campaign the same way. Her chances of winning would be about equal to what Paul's were.

He could've won if he had better strategists who didn't advise him to basically skip all of the primaries before Florida.

But no, we won't.

What state before Florida could he have won? That's why he did the stupid strategy. Giuliani was just a bad candidate all around.

McGovern was a Senator from South Dakota of all places. He was a religious borderline pro-lifer whose economic policies weren't really to the left of Nixon's. Opposing an idiotic and destructive war does not make someone a far leftist.
