I think it's fair to say that President Obama is a more gifted public speaker than President Bush was, but it's also fair to say that if Bush would have made this verbal gaffe, the late-night joke-writers would have been all over it.

Punditty thought he was doing a pretty good job of self-promotion, but he sees now that your approach is even better.

If The Punditty Project ever finds itself in need of a Punditty Pusher Down Under, it will be in touch.

Seriously, though, this whole "social media" thing, like it or not, revolves around self-promotion and network building. Punditty lacks the advertising budget of a CNN or a MSNBC, so he tries to stop by this forum, contribute to a few other threads that interest him, and then drop in some original material that he thinks will be of interest to many of the members on this forum. That's all.

Thanks for reading. Any thoughts on Obama's verbage?
