Woo second post!

Honestly, it's too early to tell. For all we know Florida may not even end up being close at all.

This question is impossible. Would anyone have predicted that NH would be closer than NC even a year ago?

Fourt post Smiley

I'm going to say Florida will be the closest, but that could very easily change.

Exactly and that goes for almost everything related to 2010.

As of now, though, I'll say that NH will be the closest race.

Missouri has a streak of close elections.
But I say Pennsylvania.

A new board, interesting! Smiley

Anyway, why do you have only FL and "some other one" options?

Florida won't be close if Crist runs.

Possibly Nevada.

Will Harry Reid go out of his way to antagonize his constituents?

Will the Republicans get something better than a "warm body" to run against Reid?

Should be interesting to find out the answer to those two questions.

I agree with the unpredictability sentiments, but I'll guess Ohio for now.

Ohio, New Hampshire, and probably Florida. There are alot that can't be predicted just yet, though.

However I could easily see the Democrats picking up a couple of Senate seats while losing around 10-20 House seats.

I don't understand this board.

I think Ohio is clearly the odds-favorite as of now, depending on how things go nationally.  Kentucky would also be a potential candidate given how close it was last time during a solid Republican year (2004) and a pipsqueak opponent.

McConnell is attempting to deny Bunning his donors in order to force him to resign, but that appears to make him even more resilient.

Nevada. I think Reid will be ousted in a very close race.

Nevada politics is Reid's playground, not to mention the huge Democrat surge in the state last year.

I'm saying Louisiana.

It may be, but his approval is 39%, and his disapproval is 49%. I think he will have a hell of a time getting re-elected.

Brian Krolicki, the Lieutenant Governor of Nevada, is considering a possible run and trying to lay the groundwork to mount a campaign against Reid.

Indicted. Wouldn't look pretty at all during a campaign. See Jefferson.

And he's trying to lay the groundwork to not end up in jail
