Story link

Quote
It now appears that Freudenthal may well seek a third term in 2010 -- thanks to a series of legal and political maneuvers that began more than two decades ago.

Hmm...

what

this is big news, thanks.  For Democorats it'd be nice for Freud [that word is accepted by the spellcheck] to stay around to make a competitive race for the Senate in four years or so.

This is an interesting development, very interesting.  Wyoming > Alaska

Is Freudenthal really interested in the senate anyway?

Wouldn't there be some sort of negative backlash for, you know, suing your way to another term?

I'm sure the Democrats would kill him if he didn't do this, seeing as how he's there only chance at breaking 30% in a Senate race, let alone winning.

Bloomberg did it in a more crass way and he doesn't seem to have a problem.
