Whoever is in the lead, generally doesn't win.

Big Deal. Intrade is usually wrong in the end.

Excellent, I think that Romney shall be approaching George Allen-like levels soon. However, this time it will be a happy ending instead of a racist, bitter one. Smiley

Romney's lead has been pretty decisive. Pawlenty won't win, he's too much of a bore.

Why does my Intrade show Romney at 21.2/24.0 and Palin at 19.8/21.5? Oh, nvm, looking at the bid.

I expect after this Saturday evening that Palin will hold the lead until Romney releases his book.

I expect Romney's book to tank (meaning it won't make the top 10 or if it does, the NY Times will give him a dagger symbol, indicating bulk sales)

Of course he won't be able to compete with Palin in book sales; She is a better known figure nationally.

The high Warner numbers are quite astounding.

Why are Palin's numbers tumbling?

She's down to 53.7 on the "will she or won't she" market.

Daniels is now in third place, just ahead of Thune. Smiley Palin is now at 10.5, which is the lowest I have seen her since her resignation a year and a half ago. On the other hand, Romney and Pawlenty gained, when pretty much everyone else lost today.

There was a massive selloff today, it appears, with everybody losing their positioning and Trump's share being the only one to increase. Why did Thune's share drop the most, though? It appears he lost about five points.

It seems Intrade is betting heavily on Romney; according to them, he's the favorite to win Iowa as well as South Carolina. It's as if they are anticipating that the cycle will be over and finished in a matter of a week.

Huge selloff of Cain today, too. Probably has to do with the sexual harassment story. His Iowa numbers are way down, about fifty percent.

I would buy Cain. Even if he loses in the end, he's bound to have a major boost if he wins Iowa.

Based on today's events I withdraw this statement.

Romney just went up to 50, and Gingrich is now at 30. What happened?
