More from Fox News.

I suppose if Republicans actually had a candidate with statewide name recognition, Dodd might be vulnerable, given his deep ties to everyone and everywhere in the financial services industry.  But the only popular Republican in the state, Governor Rell, doesn't seem interested.

Edit: No - I didn't make up the title.

It's absurd to characterize Dodd's behavior as somehow picking a fight with Obama. That's part of the Fox News filter.

The part about nationalizing banks was him slipping up and saying something everyone's been thinking and talking about behind closed doors. The part about the executive pay caps is simply good politics. Everything else is Fox spin. Except for the part about him being worried about reelection.
