French TV spoke about it. OK, that wasn't Gaza war, but they spoke about it. Then, no big interests in the game, what did you expect?

The surprise would have been they open on it with a catastrophic tone.

I found out about this form Wikipedia and not on the actual news. Then again I haven't actually watched the news for a week or so either.

Actually got some coverage in Danish media and my newspaper even mentioned that it is one of the major drug transit countries.
That said, is it really sad that Guinea-Bissau continue to be plagued by internal disorder. Not an easy task to create progress with all those problems. If only the Portuguese secret police hadn't murdered Amílcar Cabral.

What is Ginnea-Bisseau? I have never heard of this place. Probably some african Country, I presume. I heard the President was assassinated. I saw it go by on the lines on the bottom of the screen for the deaf people.

Already, Guinea is weak and odl troubles in Liberia and Sierra Leone may well spread in Guinea.

But with Guinea Bissau also in trouble, there may well be another war like these in Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Drugs from Latin America makes its way to Europe through Guinea Bissau.
Diamonds and guns are plaguing eastern Guinea.
Ethnic rivalries are of course strong.

And Casamance, the not-so-long-ago independentist south of Senegal, seems to be peaceful but trouble just south may be a problem.

So, the situation in Guinea Bissau is really worrying, more than the troubles in Equatorial Guinea or in Togo.
