This is astonishingly silly.

What?  Hoping his agenda of creating jobs fails?

That Obama fails in his quest to implement his agenda.

That's what everyone says. "We don't want Obama to fail, just his ideas," which means him in the end.

This guy is really annoying me. Trust me, I don't like Republican leaders. At all. But all he does is bash Steele, and he even attacked Cantor the other night and that really annoyed me. It's like, urgh shut up.

except he won't articulate that he wants Obama's agenda to succeed in its stated goals of improving the economy, even if he doesn't think it will

Why would he say that he "wants" something to happen that he believes to be totally illogical? It would be rather like asking a 2003 war-protester, "Don't you want the Iraq War to protect us from terrorism?" To answer is to suggest that the underlying rationale is plausible.

Do you want the abolition of all governments everywhere to lead to infinite peace and prosperity? Or do you think the question is dumb?

Of course, there would be plenty of reasons to oppose Obama's program even if it were altogether likely to improve "the" economy (whatever that means)—moral qualms, among other things. Strategically, then, it might still be wise to hope that it failed even in its alleged objective.

It's more like refusing to answer whether or not you want President Bush to succeed in his stated goal of protecting us from terrorism even if you think his policy actions would made us less safe.

Whatever.

It feels kind of nice to have my party engage in the brilliant tactics to divide the other side for once.

The Republican party is bowing down to a fat drug addict who picked on children and proudly admits to hoping the American government fails.

Wow ... this is NOT the party of Reagan any more.

lol Fox, try to keep it covered up.

Mentioning it 58 times = trying to keep it covered up?

Actually, lol @ CNN and MSNBC...as if it's "newsworthy" enough to warrant mentioning 267 times.

That is actually about once every five minutes...versus Fox's about once every 25 minutes.

Oh and what, Fox News is actually treating the story appropriately? If you're honestly going to say there's not bias there (It's all around obviously, but there are a ton of different hosts, guests news clips, and strategists, the name will be mentioned alot) then really you're being ridiculous.

I've seen mention of it on Fox, perhaps not enough, but the other two... it is a bit carried away.

It was Rick Sanchez always bringing him up and Larry King Live discussing him for the longest time ever, and some things in between. Dunno about MSNBC cause I don't watch it.

Sorry, folks.  Attacking Rush Limbaugh of all people only works in New England and along the coast.  If Rush Limbaugh is so despised, why does he have an audience of 22 million people?  Why is his the highest-rated radio show in the country?  The numbers speak for themselves.  We can talk ideology all day, but the facts are the facts.

[link=http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_030209/content/01125111.guest.html]

22 million listeners < 69 million votes.

So who is it again who is more in touch with the average American voter?
