Many of you have read of "zombie" companies, businesses that are not viable but kept in business by the government.

There is a separate group of companies that I call "vampire" companies that are similar to "zombie" companies but are constantly being subsidized by the government.

Two such companies are Citibank and AIG.

Both companies are repeatedly being subsidized by the government (i.e. the taxpayer).

Citi got another subsidy the other day and AIG is scheduled for his next dose of blood money.
