I could see myself supporting any of the five, but I voted Mitt.

Gingrich is never going to actually run.  He just likes to talk about running, so that people will pay attention to what he has to say.

Mitt if the economy is still in the tubes. Sanford would be my second choice.

Americans will rush to the polls to elect a conservative southern Republican governor!

Don't be so demagogic.  I bet you that in 2006, people said "Americans will rush to the polls to elect a 2 year senator from Illinois" or something along those lines.

Even though I would be surprised if he ran, Sanford is a very skilled and pragmatic politician, who would certainly have some appeal.

Of those listed, I'd go with Sanford.

I remember very well. Those people are called "Republicans," and I disagreed with them at the time.

I disagreed with them at the time.

But most people didn't.

I'm sure the talk in 1990 was equally hilarious. "Yeah, remember that Governor from Arkansas that gave the Keynote two years ago? He's going to run, win the nomination and totally kick Bush's ass in! No, seriously!"

Does it even matter which one of these losers gets to lose in the general?
