What about Isaiah, JMF? Pretty prophetic if you ask me.
Yep.
If taking 5 from Old Testament, probably change to taking: Gen, Ex, Dt, Psa, Isa
Hard to say, though
If someone were to ask which books of the bible they should read and what order to read them in, I would say:
1) Genesis (creation, fall, Israel)
2) Exodus (freedom of Israel from slavery)
3) John (introduction to Jesus fulfillment of Genesis and Exodus)
4) Acts (behavior of Christians)
5) Romans (faith, and accepting other Christians with different beliefs)
6) Lev, Num, Deut (the dreadfulness of the Law of Moses)
7) Galatians (faith, clearing the mind of the Law of Moses)
8 ) Hebrews (the supremacy of the new covenant)
9) Rest of Gospels (focus on Christ)
10) Proverbs
11) Psalms
