I don't think Sununu will run, I'm really not sure who the Republican nominee will be.

I think Hodes will be a slight favorite in this race.

We all know he won't run, but it's funny cause the NHGOP is waiting for him to announce what he's doing before they run someone. But he's only announcing later this year.

The biggest news here is that random number generator ARG isn't bankrupt yet.

Scoonie, is Sean Mahoney someone Republicans could rally around?  I know nothing of the NH GOP beyond Rudman, Sununu, Gregg and old Bob Smith.  Any other names floating around?

As a Republican or a member of the Constitution Party?  Bob has trouble making up his mind...

Sean Mahoney is only known among hard-core GOP activists. He would have very little name recognition and would not be able to raise very much money.

Really, you could say the same thing about every other Republican in this state outside of Sununu and Charlie Bass probably. The GOP bench is weak, the only real up-and-coming Republican in this state is Manchester mayor Frank Giunta, and even he is not that popular.

While this poll means nothing, I don't doubt that Hodes would beat Sununu easily.
