Big time Freedom State. Despite a lurch to the darkness in 2004 it's a still an awesome state full of scene, strip clubs and awesome people. It also more than redeemed itself for any mistakes in the past few years by giving us President Obama.

And now it just got even more better.

I'd consider moving to Iowa some day.

Eh. I enjoyed my visit in 2008 but that was mainly because of what the visit was based around. Other than that, it was bland. Des Moines is a nice town but I couldn't see myself living out there.

That's because you don't like emo or strip clubs.

Do you ever get tired of being a total, certifiable assclown?

Note to the moron - Fact - I didn't see a single strip club or emo "cut your wrists here" venue during my entire trip through half of the state.

Yeah but you weren't looking for them either. I doubt Harry saw any when he was in Minneapolis.

Never been there and really have no opinion of them. But I do find it annoying that they insist upon having the first primary/caucus. It should be on some sort of rotating system.

Ok but that totally disproves your asinine reasoning as to why I really don't care for Iowa.

Iowa is one of my favorite states. People are generally friendly and down to Earth and I love the farmland. Minnesota and Wisconsin are also wonderful states, although I like them for different reasons. I also happen to like Nebraska even though I'm sure a lot of people have no desire to ever come here...

Boring, aside from the politics. Still, that is enough to put in the "positive" column (albeit barely).

I could see myself living in Des Moines, Iowa City or Davenport. Everywhere else sucks though. Most of the rural areas aren't poop in mouth terrible but they are still bad.
