I would guess that, thirty years from now, same-sex marriage will be legal across the country, so it won't be a legal issue, no.

My guess is that a majority of Americans will support same-sex marriage by around 2030, and the Supreme Court will mandate SSM at a federal level around 2035 or 2040. I would guess that most Americans opposed laws like the ones struck down by Lawrence v Texas well before 2003.

My guess is that, thirty years from now, the Dominionists will have realized their ambition to transform America into a Christo-fascist theocracy.

why? Fundies are a shrinking demographic profile, and their children are more moderate on almost every issue.
