Cooper: 41%
Burr: 37%

PPP surveyed 979 North Carolina voters from April 8th to 11th. The survey’s margin of error is +/-3.1%. Other factors, such as refusal to be interviewed and weighting, may introduce additional error that is more difficult to quantify.

Pretty sad that 33% of your state has no idea who you are.

This will be one of the 6 or 7 seats that Dems target in 2010.

Do you ever get dizzy from spinning all the time?

I thought you were referring to Cooper, never mind.

He is right. That is sad than 33% of the inhabitants of North Carolina have no opinion of their senior senator.

Who thinks we'll see another "Godless" type ad from the right-wing thrown at Cooper or whoever the Democratic nominee is? Tongue

Eh, quit the demagoguery.   Don't forget that Burr isn't a moron like Dole.

Eh, I bet more know about Burr than Cooper, even if Burr has bizarrely low recognition.

Let's not front like Cooper has an advantage until we know what those undecideds voted for last election or what have you.  There's a difference between an undecided and a conservative/liberal "undecided"

Which is why he opposed, for reasons I never heard explained, Duckworth's nomination to Veteran's Affairs, and basically advocated running and withdrawing all your money from a bank and hiding it in your mattresses.

I think we can safely say, "moron." Also, lighten up on the new guy.

I'm sure he had his reasons.  They may have not been ethical ones, but I'm sure they existed.

If the new guy was a Republican hack, I'm sure you would say that. Smiley

Also, I'm talking about running campaigns.  I cannot guarantee that Burr is a skilled mastermind at running them, but there's no way he will self destruct as badly as Dole.
