He was entertaining for a little while, but his act got old.  Once he got caught lying about his age and education, I lost all patience for the kid.

His debate style distinctly reminds me of the maturity of a fourth grader. As soon as anyone disagrees with him, instead of debating on the issues, he does his childish "well I'm your intellectual superior and you're just stupid, so there." I can just about picture him sticking out his tongue at the end of it. For this reason, he's the only poster I've got on ignore.

You aren't missing much.  His new gimmick is to start threads where he'll re-post an entire news article, offering little to none of his own insight, solely to bait blue-avatars into the customary knock-down, drag-out "debate" with him.  Except no one really cares to respond.

Besides the general meanness and the lies, I'm frustrated that he doesn't respond to criticism of his substance.  He seems more interested in lecturing than defending his theses.  In fact, if anyone does a specific criticism of his logic (as opposed to just an intuitive criticism of his conclusions) he does not respond.  For someone who is all about questioning authority, that's really obnoxious.

Oh, and the constant ad hominem attacks...not a good poster.  Also not a moron, though, could be a very good poster if he dropped his act.

At the store I work in.. we got a crew of people who go to our store right after work and then had home to st Clair county. They are a strange bunch of people.. and I usually end of yelling at them about something.. it is funny

That is the frustration. The guy is very smart, quite well educated in certain areas, has  a good vocabulary and writes well, but just has this need to get a sanguinary high. Sometimes it is so extreme it reminds me of that Dexter series, which my nephew has induced me to watch. How can the wheat be separated from the chaff here?

But there is hope. In general, the posters who have been here awhile just get better and better. I have been here to witness that, much to this old man's pleasure. Meanwhile, I'm deteriorating, but at least I can blame that on incipient insentience.

Voted FF, for the record. I think a lot of his antics are just part of his shtick. He's still a decent writer and I find some of his postings quite interesting.
