Now they're trying to argue "Oh, don't worry, we knew about it, and we would have sabotaged the campaign if it looked like he was going to win the nomination." I wonder what they would tell the Edwards volunteers in Iowa, New Hampshire, and other early primary states today? "Yeah, we knew you were wasting your time. Yeah, that's what I really don't get. If they knew about this and hoped to sabotage the campaign, they should have quit from the get-go.
I find it hard to say that these folks are any better than Edwards himself.
