I am fiercely proud of this map. Two variables plotted on a dichromatic, 256-color scale!

Cheesy ! The aesthetics are amazing. I'm gonna spend at least an hour looking over this.

beautiful!
It takes me a little while to understand it, but very worth the effort.

NW TX is interesting with its high nonwhite/very Republican counties.

Just one glitch I noticed. Along the Percent White axis, you have '60' and '65' transposed.

I have nothing to add, but to echo the sentiments of so many other posters in this thread. You are fantastic, your work is detailed and you exhibit the originality of thought of so many great thinkers - some of the maps you create... well, I wouldn't even think of them, let alone research and create them.

As for this map, it's striking in some of those trends, but as other posters have stated, looks simply beautiful/aesthetically pleasing. It really is a work of art.

OK, I fixed that.

Well, thank you for taking the time to write that, and to everyone else who's complimented my work and enjoyed the maps. I'm glad that this is something that people value, and that I enjoy practicing this "art" as well.

I don't know if you've all seen this one yet, but if you have an eye for aesthetics, behold the Atlas' first map rendered in a continuous color scale: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=142822.msg3503414#msg3503414

I'll have a similar map for 2012 ready to go soon. Then I might consider doing one for 2000.
