The Pacific Time Zone went 59.6%-38.1% Obama.
The Mountain Time Zone went ~51%-47% McCain.

Eastern Time Zone

This was real work, Mittens.

Obama 35,654,305 54.39%
McCain 29,029,574 44.28%
other 873,491 1.33%

McCain won the portion of Indiana in the eastern time zone, and the portion of Florida in the central time zone, btw. Obama won both zones in Michigan doing better in the eastern zone, McCain won both zones of Tennessee and Kentucky, doing better in eastern Tennessee but in central Kentucky.

It's so stupid that part of Florida is in Central timezone. I mean, wtf? The state's on the East Coast.

At least the eastern-central line doesn't cut any counties - unlike the two more westerly ones. I hope the info I had on Indiana was up to date, several counties there have changed time zones recently, some of them twice.

The portion that is in Central time is directly south of Alabama (and probably should've been a part of that state instead).

That area certainly votes like Alabama.
