well, they don't have a definite pattern, but if you look at polling Latham was aherad before the election, whilst on the last few days that support eroded a bit. I'd be confident of Labor winning 3 of the 5 too close to calls, and would expect them to win all but Bonner at this stage.
Bump!
Well, is Labor going to win those Doubtful seats? They're still counting votes, after all...

I think they've won three, with two pretty much sown up for the coalition. the www.abc.net.au/elections site should have more info.

Thanks, I was going off http://vtr.aec.gov.au/ which hasn't called those seats. So..."
Party           Vote   Swing    Predict     Previous(from AEC)

National     5.9%      +0.3        12               12
Labor        37.7%     -0.2        60                65

The predictions in this table take account of historical data in all seats and forecast an overall election outcome."

Question: the AEC has CLP - The Territory Party in NT, but they do not show up on the ABC projection. Interpreting the data it seems that ABC counts them as Liberals, right? Who are they?

the CLP is the country liberal party, basically formed when the NT liberals merged with the NT Nationals. The Nationals were formerly known as the Country Party, and changed after the two parties merged in the NT.

I don't think that the CLP is likely to change its name to the NLP at this point in time, tro be honest, either.

Who is going to be Speaker this term. Is Neil Andrew still the Liberal speaker or will it go to another MP?
