You know that there's no justice when I can put up near 70 and lose by 2 points, and someone wins with less than 30.

Not that it's any consolation, but the Pittsburgh defense is on fire tonight. I currently have 43 points. Grin

My opponent (Jersey Devils) just put up the 3rd highest point total for the week, and lost.

Just got to be in the top 4 at the end of week 13 and then get lucky for the next two weeks.

Thank goodness that Chris Johnson and Reggie Bush both came up big today. Cancels out the pitiful showing by Vernon Davis.

Up by 15. Opponent has two players left who were projected for a combined 19. I really need Romo to have a good second half, maybe throw a touchdown? Because the way my luck usually goes, I will need a comfortable lead to win this week.

Green Bay would score 16 points the week after I dropped them...
Ugh.

btw, I thought I had started Ladell Betts and didn't realize I hadn't halfway through the first game.  If I lose because of that, I'm not going to be happy.

I'm going to call it right now. Wes Walker is going to score a touchdown against the Colts. Then, tomorrow night, Ray Rice will break 100 yards rushing and score 2 touchdowns. I lose.

Well, Colts came back and won the game on the finishing drive. With Pierre Garcon touchdown and Joseph Addai touchdown. Nice way to end Rivalry weekend with a 5 game winning streak.  Way to go with Feeley with those 11 pts as well.

Well, if I'd started Betts anyway, I would have lost anyway by a few tenths (which would have been really annoying).  Anyway, good game to Iron Man.

Btw, I don't know why I should help others, but with the injuries this week, this is a great chance to pick up some backup RBs who will get their chance to shine.

Personally, I'm still trying to figure out who dropped Beanie Wells and why - I know Arizona has not been one to run in the past and Hightower was the focus earlier, but the coaching staff has made it quite clear that Wells will get more and more of the load as the season progresses and look at that schedule during the playoffs..

One other thing - we have now reached the point where you pick up Tennessee's defense (as I said earlier this season).  I almost did it this week and regret not doing it greatly.  This is now info for other leagues.  Green Bay's D is also acceptable, but I'd only play them at home or against weak opponents.

It's early still, but today's looking like a shellacking.  Smiley  Thank goodness Tony Romo is still Dallas's QB.

Totally blew it by not putting in Ricky Williams and it cost me a victory.  Well, there is a short week and hopefully I can get a victory again.

65 point lead with Brees, Welker and Rice left for my opponent should be good enough.

We'll see.  A win here probably clinches a one-week bye for me.

I was worried when I checked in yesterday & found Donald Driver had overperformed big time, but things are looking good for me. Antonio Gates came through big for me while Matt Ryan & DeAngelo Williams both flopped for my opponent. I'm up by 19.7 points. I have one player left & my opponent has two. They're all playing in the first quarter currently.

It looks like I am going to barely lose this one as well.  Well the next week will be far my easiest game of the year. Hopefully next week I will be able to do it.

Well, got lucky and won by 1 pt.  Randy Moss scored a record low of 3 pts. Hopefully, my winning ways will continue next week.

Unless opponents score an ungodly amount of points next week, #1 seed is secured and first-round bye.  Smiley

Well done. The playoff bracket is looking rather confusing, but I might have to play you in the second round if I win. I don't even know.

In looking at my lineup today, the odd thing is that, with one week out, only I have a secured seed (and a #1 at that, barring collapse) and only Mashers has been eliminated.

That being said, 9/10/11 only have a chance if 6/7/8 all lose, and out of those three, I can only see Jersey with a real shot.  The numbers say that all of the four 7-5 teams should be in and they will be for sure unless two 6-6 teams win.  If Omaha wins, he has the #2 seed (even though he has no QB), if he doesn't, it'll be a tough call.
