That's what we call 'chemise canadienne' in French, of which the literal translation is 'Canadian shirt'.

Mine is quite like the one on the left, but with less lines, less heavy, softer as I said.

I basically wear a v-neck t-shirt or a polo, dark navy skinnies, and brown boat shoes every day. Once it gets colder I'll start wearing shirts + sweaters every day instead.

My boat shoes look like this more or less (without the little square logo on the flap), though I tie them like regular sneakers instead of into a weird knot:



I have a pair of converse chuck taylor's that I'm fond of, but the insides are torn up and uncomfortable to walk around in and I've been too lazy to fix it.

Nothing but big ole' Gant brand khaki green shorts with a little bit of a pleat (you guys remember Gant?), black leather belt, blue 'Australia' T-shirt, a black hooded lightweight rain jacket, and blue/black flip flops.

Gant's still big. East Coast American heritage with sportswear influence is very in.
