Republican State Treasurer Judy Baar Topinka leading Democratic Incumbent Governor Rod R. Blagojevich 43% to 41%.

The telephone survey of 500 Likely Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports March 27, 2006. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 4.5 percentage points at the midpoint with a 95% level of confidence
