In Delaware, Democrats Set to Hold the Statehouse, Hold US Senate Seat, Award 3 Electoral Votes to Obama-Biden: The Barack Obama Joe Biden ticket will carry Delaware's 3 electoral votes, Democrat Biden will be re-elected to another term in the US Senate, and Democrat Jack Markell will be elected Governor, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted for WCAU-TV Philadelphia. Current Governor Ruth Ann Minner is term limited, and not able to run for another term. But as a lame-duck, Minner could have the opportunity to appoint a replacement for Biden as Senator from Delaware, if the Obama-Biden ticket wins the White House. 800 adults were interviewed 10/27/08 and 10/28/08. Of them, 742 were registered to vote. Of them, 657 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely to vote.
