Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett, a Republican, still holds the lead in the race to be the state’s next governor.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the Keystone State shows Corbett earning 49% support, while his Democratic opponent, Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato, picks up 39% of the vote. Two percent (2%) like some other candidate in the race, and 10% remain undecided.

The statewide survey of 500 Likely Voters in Pennsylvania was conducted on September 13, 2010 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 4.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.
