About this Poll

BALTIMORE (September 19, 2022)—The Goucher College Poll was conducted from September 8 to 12, 2022. It surveyed 1,008 Maryland residents (MOE=+/-3.1%) from which 748 likely voters (MOE=+/-3.6%) were identified. Residents were asked their opinions on the direction and the economic conditions of the state, the state of the COVID-19 pandemic, race relations, approaches to addressing crime, and educational issues, as well as their views toward Gov. Larry Hogan, President Joe Biden, and former President Donald J. Trump. Likely voters were asked for their candidate preferences in the upcoming statewide general election contests.
