(names rotated) Barack Obama leads John McCain 73% to 19% among Democrats (45% of likely voters). McCain leads Obama 83% to 9% among Republicans (38% of likely voters). And Obama leads McCain 50% to 42% among independent voters (17% of likely voters). McCain now leads Obama 53% to 41% among men (47% of likely voters). In the June 13-17 survey, Obama was leading among men 48% to 46%. Among women (53% of likely voters), Obama leads 48% to 42%. In the June 13-17 survey, Obama was leading among women 49% to 43%. McCain leads Obama 54% to 38% among white voters (71% of likely voters). Obama leads McCain 81% to 9% among African American voters (13% of likely voters).
