But each of the Democrats has widened their lead over McCain in hypothetical head-to-head matchups. The Siena (College) Research Institute poll was conducted May 12-15. It involved telephone calls to 622 registered New York state voters. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.9 percentage points.
