A survey of N=1,005 registered voters in Texas conducted by Baselice & Associates , Inc. indicates that John
McCain has significant leads over the two remainingDemocratic presidential candidates. McCain’s leads are
even more noteworthy considering Texas is eight percentage points more Republican than Democrat in terms
of its base partisan vote behavior.
